Portrait of the mighty Leman Russ! Based on the fantastic actor Rune Temte. If ever there was a person perfect to play Leman, it would be him.

As with each painting, I'm always studying other artists, seeing what things they are doing that strengthen their art. I'm slowly letting go of the desire to control ever pixel with detail as this distracts from the main focal point.

The likes of Neil Roberts, Phil Moss, Misha Savier, Elijah ArhPriest, Lewis Jones and others are big inspirations of mine.
